Profile: Mrs. Hyera is one of the two Elected National TPHA members. She is currently serving a second two-year term as an elected member of the Executive Committee. She is an experienced nurse, currently working as Public Health Nursing Officer in charge of the Maternal Child Clinic at the Bombo Regional Hospital. She graduated with a Diploma in Nursing from the Muhimbili School of nursing in 1975 and obtained a General Certificate in intensive care from the Regional academy of Dresden (Germany) in 1991. In 1996, Ms Hyera obtained an Advanced Diploma in Public Health Nursing from the Morogoro Institute of Public Health Nursing. Ms. Hyera has attended several short courses including IEC Initiatives in Control of HIV in Tanga in 1998 and Malaria Control also in Tanga.

Profile: Ms. Nchimbi is the current TPHA publicity secretary, a post she has held for three consecutive times. She is an experienced public health nurse who graduated in Mkomaindo School of Nursing Masasi (1976) and trained in Social Work at the National Social Welfare Training Institute, Dar es Salaam in 1981 achieving an Advanced Diploma in Social Work. She also obtained a Diploma in Journalism from the Tanzania School of Journalism in 1989. Currently she works as a Health Educator through the Media at the Health Education Unit, Ministry of Health, since 1983.

Profile: She holds a Secondary School Certificate and a Certificate in Secretarial Duties Stage I & II from the Civil Service Training Centre in Dar es Salaam.

Profile: She has a Diploma in Secretarial Duties and Business Administration from Information IT (1998) and a good knowledge of computer operation. At ESRF she is doing all secretarial work in the Foundation’s Information Centre and Tanzania Online. Before joining ESRF, she worked with Property Bureau for three years and the as a United Nations Volunteer (UNV) in ILO’s library.

Profile: Mrs. Margaret Nzuki, Librarian/Information Officer, has an M.Sc. in Information Science from the University of London (1994) and a BA in Librarianship and Information Studies from the Liverpool John Moore University (1993). She was formerly Head of the National Bibliographic Agency at the Tanzania Library Service. Well-versed in the use of state-of-the-art Information Technology (IT) systems, Mrs. Nzuki continues to maintain ESRF''s ever-growing and specialized library in the field of Economics, and providing quick information retrieval (library) services using CD-ROMs, Internet and the On-line Public Access Catalogue (OPAC).
